“I am very grateful for this training, I learnt how to properly use blood glucose and blood pressure monitors which were provided in the first aid kit” – Tameem. Tameem is one of the 80 participants who successfully completed the “Firs Aid Training” in Sweida governorate, by acquiring the necessary skills, knowledge, and a first aid kit they are now able to deal with situations that require emergency care. “The first aid course allowed me to correct the misconceptions I had about emergency care, especially information related to bleeding, burns, and fractures”- Samah. Four first aid trainings were implemented for young volunteers and students of the nursing school by the Syrian Family Planning Association in Sweida with the support of the United Nations Population Fund. Thanks to the fund of the Republic of Korea.
