With her very first delivery after graduating in 1992, midwife Amal Hamdan knew that her profession was more than just a job—it was a mission of hope and life.
From her hometown of Kherbet Al-Teen in rural Homs to every village she’s served, she has left behind stories of safe mothers and healthy newborns.

“I’ve received several awards throughout my career, but my greatest reward is a mother’s smile after a safe delivery.”

Today, Amal continues her vital work at the Charitable Circassian Association Clinic in Ain Al-Nasr in rural Homs, proudly offering her experience and saving the lives of women and their children every day.
