The mom was planning for a great reception for her 1st baby , but in reality everything ran out of control due to the devastating earthquake which struck Syria and Turkey.
Nour was born in hard conditions, at the time her parents and grandparents fled their home and took shelter in Ammar Bin Yaser Mosque in Aleppo , which became a shelter for tens of families affected by the disaster.
“The living condition in the shelter is vey tough for me & my baby. It is so cold at night and so crowded, in addition to the food shortage,” says Nour’s mother, Reham.
Reham receives reproductive health services and postnatal health care from the SFPA & UNFPA supported mobile teams.
