Al-Hol camp continues to receive an influx of displaced people. While the last few days had seen a marked slowdown of arrivals, the situation remains unpredictable.
As observed in recent influxes to Al-Hol, most new arrivals are women and children, who still constitute the majority of the camp’s occupants. The protection concerns have increased due to the high influx number of new arrivals.
UNFPA is making great efforts to meet the reproductive health needs as well as humanitarian response to GBV and the provision of reproductive health and GBV services remain life-saving to women and girls in Al-Hol camp.
