Join us to know who is Shukriya ? For 30 years, Shukriya is a midwife who has been helping women in the city of Al_Mayadin and its villages in eastern Syria to have a safe delivery and reduce the risks to the lives of mothers and fetuses. On the occasion of International Day of Midwives, UNFPA would like to thank all midwives for their efforts in helping women give birth safely.
