"For many years, we have been providing services through cross lines & cross borders, and for the first time, we had the opportunity to meet our team in Idlib," stated Muriel Mafico, UNFPA Representative in Syria, from Idlib Governorate. During the visit, the team observed operations at the Maternity Hospital, which offers maternal health services, and the Safe Space for Women & Girls. This space is affectionately called "Makani," where women feel safe and at home Thanks to the generous support from: EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid, UK for Syria, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, British Embassy in Beirut, and UN in Syria.
