“By the end of the course, we were able to deal with the program, modify and process images. It was a very important experience for me, and it boosted up my self-confidence.”- Ghadeer. A group of young people completed the “Photoshop” course and gained the required skills to process images, use drawing tools, and mixing tools in the Photoshop program. With the support of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Syria, the Syrian Family Planning Association implemented several courses to empower youth in Sweida city, Thanks to the fund of the Republic of Korea.

من أجواء احتفالية بعنوان "اسمع قلبي" و التي تضمنت عرضا"مسرحيا" لفرقة إحساس، و ألعاب ترفيهية بحضور مجموعة كبيرة من المشاركين الصم من مدينة حمص ، نظمتها دائرة العلاقات المسكونية والتنمية بالشراكة مع صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان. و قدم فريق دائرة العلاقات المسكونية والتنمية هدية امتنان لهؤلاء الأشخاص عن طريق أغنية بلغة الإشارة. “I am very grateful for this training, I learnt how to properly use blood glucose and blood pressure monitors which were provided in the first aid kit” – Tameem. Tameem is one of the 80 participants who successfully completed the “Firs Aid Training” in Sweida governorate, by acquiring the necessary skills, knowledge, and a first aid kit they are now able to deal with situations that require emergency care. “The first aid course allowed me to correct the misconceptions I had about emergency care, especially information related to bleeding, burns, and fractures”- Samah. Four first aid trainings were implemented for young volunteers and students of the nursing school by the Syrian Family Planning Association in Sweida with the support of the United Nations Population Fund.
